How to play

Twenty-nine. You and the player opposite are partners. J, 9, A, 10 carry the points (28 in the deck). Bid 16 to 28; the highest bidder sets trump in secret, revealed when someone can’t follow suit. First side to 6 game points wins.

Call Bridge. Every player for themselves, spades always trump. Call 1 to 8 tricks; make it and score the call plus 0.1 per extra trick, miss and lose it. If you can’t follow suit you must play a spade. Five rounds.

Bridge. Played as minibridge: each hand’s points (A 4, K 3, Q 2, J 1) are shown, the side with more declares and its stronger hand picks trumps and level. Dummy goes face up and the declarer plays both. Standard scoring, four deals.

Poker. Texas hold’em, 1,000 chips each, blinds 10 and 20. Best five of your two cards and the five shared. All-ins and side pots are handled.
